I'm a sicko

I discovered that there was a mystery box on my way to work so at 6a.m. I
was letterboxing. After working for 10 hours I stopped on my way home at
4:30p.m. to letterbox some more. How sick is this and is there a cure?

Hey! I'm sicker than all of you! Decided to do a new box in my area
at 7:30 Saturday evening. It was a 40 minute hike into the woods
which wasn't so bad on the way in but it was pretty dark on the way
out. Almost got run down by a porcupine!

Hey, Butterfly said "Yo"
that's like something Bruce's nephew with the lime-green,
ground-scraping car says, so I think that's kinda sick.

2 weeks ago I was working my midnight shift rotation which is 6pm-
6am. Looked at some clues on the new site... contemplated the exact
location of the "The Wall" box in Waterford... and went for a drive
to try and find it at 0545 when my releif got here. Thats sick!
Didn't find it, but I now think I might know where its at after a bit
more research!!!!

Also... Heidi thinks i need help, i mean professional help. Went to
balance my checkbook last night and she comes into the office right
as I am replying to emails from B'Fly (yo!) and Psychokiwis. Heidi
goes "ohhhhh so you're balancing your checkbook!"... toooo funny!

Sorry - it only gets worse! : ) I've done the reverse, left for work
early to go out boxing at 6am. The joggers etc must think it's a
weird site to see two people in work clothes out wandering around in
the woods. : )

There should be a support group. (I guess this is it.) Maybe LBer's anonymous? "Hi, my name is Debean and I'm a letterboxaholic." ;)

This was me this morning! A dress, sneakers, a zipup sweatshirt - 6:30 a.m. hunting letterboxes. Here's the scary part - I've only been doing this since Friday!! It's VERY addicting. I'm glad that I live in Connecticut where there's a ton of boxes!!

Okay since everyone is 'fessin up I'll admit that we letterboxed on the way
to a wedding in Ogunquit (at the Cliff House no less). Of course I stepped
on a sharp stick which flew up and made a lovely gash on my leg. I just kept
telling myself...everyone just looks at the bride.....

When my own sister announced she was getting married in Philly, one
of the first things we did was check the site for boxes
there! "Well, since we're going anyway...."

Hi Steve. Another shift worker.
Last week I was on my back shift, also 6pm-6am. Things were slow so
I solved Pete's puzzel to the Dancing men. Friday, my last day on
that shift, I got off at 6am, went home, slept for about 4 hours, and
Sunshine and I headed for RI. We found Dancing Men, had enough
energy to get Pine Barrens and were rewared with a hithhiker.

Wow, so it isn't just us. We have checked in on the LB website
for every occasion that takes us to a different area, weddings,
reunions, and yes (I hate to admit it) funerals too (they just turned
up the temperature 10 degrees for us in hell). I know, its bad but
if we kicked and someone wanted to check out a box near our
funeral, we would totally understand, its the addiction, you cant
help it. WE have actually had second thoughts about events that
didn't offer some LBing getaway while we were there. There you
go, another 10 degrees. It will be toasty where we are going,
anyone want to join us??

The Travelin' Trouts

P.S. Heck, we'll probably hide a LB when we get there too.
